A GHANAIAN POLICE OFFICER ALLEGEDLY CAUGHT SMOKING WEEED BY A CHIEF

A few days ago, the Ghana Police Service was trending on Twitter, the most popular social media network, for its work with Ghanaians ensuring the safety of its residents. Some diaspora who traveled to the nation for significant music festivals, such as Afronation, also recommends the police force of the nation for safeguarding the safety of everyone who attended such events around Christmas. However, in every organization, there is a bad seed that just ruins everything, Francis Adetsi being one of them.

Francis Adetsi, a police officer from Ofoase, currently working at Ayirebi was caught allegedly smoking weed at the ghetto by Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi, the chief of the town. A video circulating on the internet captured the police officer involved in a heated argument with the Chief and his escorts. The police officer claimed he was on a mission to catch those that supplied the weed in the town and upon seeing him, they all fled the scene.

It was a totally different account of the story from the chief saying that he saw the police officer seated with some of the ghetto boys who eventually took to their heels upon seeing the Chief and his bodyguards approaching the place. The police officer was however not caught with any weed or marijuana on him so his claims of being there strictly for catching the leader of the ghetto gang could be true.

He was later matched off by the chief’s bodyguard for further interrogation
